Canada and the United States are now sharing their criminal activity databases with each other, to learn who may have previously been convicted of any kind of crime, including a DUI/DWI. Entry into Canada is being denied to travellers with any kind of criminal record, including a DUI/DWI. They have a designated website, listing the various offenses and criminal activity, that would cause someone's entry to be considered inadmissible and ultimately, denied. If you, or anyone travelling with you, has had a DUI or DWI in the past, they should call: 313-567-2085 for more information regarding a special waiver/rehabilitation.
